• Flower Agate is a relatively rare variety of agate characterized by distinctive white, pink, or cream-colored plume formations that resemble delicate flowers or botanical patterns suspended within a translucent to semi-translucent pink, peach, or clear Chalcedony base. These flower-like formations are created by natural mineral inclusions that developed during the stone's formation, with each piece displaying unique patterns that can appear like floating blooms, creating a three-dimensional effect within the stone. The stone was relatively recently discovered in Madagascar and is a variety of chalcedony, which is a microcrystalline form of quartz.
