This bird, historically has been associated with Thoth, the Egyptian god of wisdom & spiritual sciences. Ibis Jasper is primarily composed of silica and is classified as a chalcedony gemstone. It forms when layers of silica-rich sediment deposit over time, creating the characteristic banding and coloration. The presence of trace elements, such as iron and manganese, contributes to its rich brown, red, and yellow hues.
